This Camp is for orienteers aged 12-18, who are not in an official State Team. Their families and younger siblings are welcome too.
Meet other junior orienteers from all over Australia and New Zealand. Compete as part of the Independents Team.
You don’t have to be great at orienteering, just keen to know more and improve. This is a chance to stay, learn, and have fun together. Make new friends as you learn new skills.
Camp includes accommodation and food. You can come for just for a few hours, one day, or stay for all 6 nights.
Parents or carers will be required to stay at the Camp, to help and to supervise the children, and to provide transport to the daily Carnival events.
After a day at the Carnival, participants will have a chance to relax and play. Social activities, talks and training sessions will be scheduled.
Depending on demand, group accommodation and activities may also be organised for the weekend of October 1-3 at Burra.
